Getting Here

Train
We are a 2 minute walk from Rye station with hourly trains to: Eurostar connections can be made at Ashford International with direct access to Paris (112 Mins) and now Amsterdam. Euro Tunnel services are a 50-minute drive away (Folkestone). Ferry services are 60 mins away at Dover port.

Bus
We are a 1-minute walk from Rye bus stops with direct buses to:
Hastings, Folkestone, Dover, Tenterden, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Camber Sands, Hythe & Northiam

Airports
Trains connect us easily with London Gatwick Airport (LGW) (change at Eastbourne or Lewes) and buses connect us via Lydd airport.

Where to park
As with most other town centre properties, there is no parking at Number 5 but there are many car parks close by.

We recommend using the Cattle Market/Rope Walk Car Park (TN31 7NA) which is only 2 minutes walk away and costs £3 for 24 hours. A market operates in the car park on Thursdays, so please note there is no overnight parking on Wednesday evenings.

Food and Drink Recommendations

Rye has an excellent selection and variety of coffee shops, pubs, bars and restaurants. Something for every taste.

We recommend making dinner reservations in advance, and prior to arrival, especially at weekends and holiday times.
